I currently lead the Solution Engineering organization for EMEA Growth Markets, including Central and Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, Adriatics, Central Asia, Middle-East, Israel, and Africa. Prior to this role, I served as the Senior Director of Tableau Solution Engineering for EMEA South & Central. Before joining Salesforce in 2021, I spent nearly two decades at Microsoft, where I held a variety of leadership positions across Consulting, Marketing, Sales, Presales, and Evangelism functions, both domestically and internationally. My contributions were particularly noteworthy in leading the Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Azure organizations in Italy, as well as spearheading the Data, AI & Industry Solutions business in Europe. Prior to my tenure at Microsoft, I served as the CRM pre-sales lead at SAP for almost five years, honing my skills in business solution architecture and customer engagement. I began my career in the software industry at an Italian system integrator, where I gained invaluable experience working with Oracle Applications and delving into CRM solutions. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a devoted father to four children: Riccardo, Pietro, Emma, and Michele. I have demonstrated my passion for basketball, endurance sports as an ultra-runner, specializing in desert races and leveraging my athletic pursuits to support charitable fundraising initiatives. Additionally, I am a sailplane pilot and Harley Davidson enthusiast, finding solace and exhilaration in the freedom of flight and the open road. In my leisure time, I embrace analog pleasures, disconnecting from digital devices to immerse myself in the world of paper books, culinary experiments, music, and the pursuit of mastering the piano, albeit with humble determination and modest success. With a multifaceted background and a relentless commitment to excellence, I continue to inspire and lead in both my professional and personal spheres.
